The Vision of Syren!

After a short Summer Hiatus, Syren! has returned! Syren! will be doing quarterly events with a fetish theme for a Pansexual/Pangender crowd at our new home, Sanctuary Studios LAX. Our first event at Sanctuary Studios LAX is our School Girl Fetish Theme Event - Hard Lessons: Detention Dolls In Bondage. Our new motto, "PanSexual Perversity For PostModern People™", reflects the goal of Syren! to appeal to a broader, more inclusive base of people, while still retaining our TG roots. Syren! welcomes people of all gender and sexual orientations and preferences. Trangender, genderqueer, gender-fluid, gay, lesbian, bi, straight, Goth, Punk, Rocker, Fetish, Vanilla – it doesn't matter. As long as you're open-minded and leave your hang-ups at the door, you're welcome.

Syren! will now now be doing fetish theme events exclusively. We found our Fetish Events are our most popular event nights - and they lend themselves to a versatility of different specific fetish themes and genres. 

Syren! will continue to care about and bring attention and awareness to worthy causes that benefit the transgender community. In the future, Syren! will continue to be actively engaged in fund-raising events for TG charity and organizations. In June 2010, Syren! hosted a fund-raiser for the Transgender Youth Clinic of the Children's Hospital Los Angeles, and intends to continue to be involved in fund raising efforts for this worthy local charity that provides a wide range of services to trangender youth. Syren! challenges all other TG-oriented clubs to step up to the plate and do
the same.

Syren! -- The Past
Syren! started as a weekly Saturday club in March 2007 at Tempest in West Hollywood. At that time, the Queen Mary Show Lounge had been closed for some time, and Girl Talk Nights at The Lodge aka Club L had ceased for a while -- The Lodge was sold and became a straight club. Syren! saw a vacuum in the TG nightlife scene and filled the void.

Syren!’s run at Tempest was great but far too short – Tempest was sold and became the A-List straight club the Crown Bar. After doing a series of special one-off events at different venues, Syren! took some time to regroup and refocus.

Syren! returned to doing regular events at C. Frenz in Reseda,  in September 2009, with the Syren! Trans Fetish
Ball IV – our grand return event was a smashing success.

Syren! -- The Present and The Future
With its new residency at Sanctuary Studios LAX, Syren! is broadening its appeal to beyond the TG community and seeks to include more people from the Fetish/Goth/Alternative club and social scenes. Syren! will continue to put on cool, fun events that draw great crowds and a good, diverse mix of people.

Syren! believes that the TG club scene has grown a bit stale, with too much of the same ole, same ole - it's  time to shake things up a bit, with a club event that's sexy, kinky, naughty, and most of all fun!
